1) Keep a record - When you make contact with Irwell Valley Housing regarding any query, it might be an idea to make a note of the date, time, what was discussed, booked appointment dates and times slots, and most importantly the name of the member of staff you have spoken to.
2) Voice one complaint at a time as too many issues will overwhelm the listener.
3) Start with easier complaints and work your way up to more meaningful ones.
4) Identify the person who has the power to make the changes you seek, then complain to that person directly. Find out "who do you need to talk to in order to...............?"
5) Before you voice your dissatisfaction, identify exactly what you hope to achieve. What is your goal?
6) Before you complain, get any anger you may be feeling under control - as this will not help your situation.
